This guide brings together Canelo vs Mbilli betting odds, market explanations and our betting tips for the announced 31 October fight. Our editorial lean is Canelo by decision, with cautious confidence. Our betting position is no bet at the quoted decision price. The tables record published prices at a stated research time; they are not a live feed or a claim of the best prices across the market.

The published market

Canelo vs Mbilli betting odds

These are the ordinary three-way outright prices displayed on Sky Bet’s event page, accessed on . Availability and prices can change. Check the named market and the price offered in the betslip before placing a bet.

Sky Bet · Three-way outright · 27 October 2026, 18:32 GMT
SelectionFractionalDecimalRaw implied chance
Canelo Alvarez1/31.3375.00%
Draw16/117.005.88%
Christian Mbilli13/53.6027.78%

Decimal prices are rounded to two places. Implied percentages are calculated from the exact fractional prices; they are not our assessed win probabilities.

Canelo is the shorter-priced fighter in this snapshot. The three implied percentages add to approximately 108.66%; the amount above 100% is the market’s quoted overround. It does not mean that these are three calibrated probabilities or that an individual bettor faces a fixed loss rate.

We have not compared every bookmaker, boost or personalised offer. An older preview price and an available market quote should not be ranked together as if captured simultaneously.

Sky Bet identifies SBG Sports Limited as its sports operator. The UKGC register lists active remote real-event betting permission under account 67370. That record is separate from the sponsored partner advertisement.

Selection, price and restraint

Canelo vs Mbilli betting tips

Our current view

Canelo by decision · No bet at the quoted price

We would only reconsider at evens, 1/1 (2.00), or longer after another review of the fight and settlement terms. This is an editorial threshold, not an available quote or a measured fair price.

1. Separate the prediction from the bet

Our tactical lean is that Alvarez’s counters and body work can interrupt Mbilli’s pressure often enough to win a decision. That is a possible winning route, not a reason to accept any price. The decision quote in the next table falls below our stated review threshold, so we are passing.

2. Give the upset a credible route

Mbilli can overturn our view if he sustains effective pressure and leaves Alvarez defending for too much of each round. A stoppage by either fighter would also defeat a Canelo decision selection. Our full prediction explains the tactical case and its limitations; confidence stays cautious.

3. Avoid adding markets without a separate case

Do not turn a narrow opinion about the winner into several bets on the same story. A decision selection, a distance bet and a rounds total may overlap, but their winning conditions differ. Each needs its own price assessment, and several related bets can concentrate your exposure to one outcome.

The key distinction

Likely does not mean good value.

A short-priced outcome can still be too short for the uncertainty. Passing is a valid betting decision.

The risk to the view

Effective pressure can win rounds.

Alvarez needs enough consistent work; isolated clean counters may not offset sustained scoring activity.

A different market

Method-of-victory betting odds

The following Sky Bet method prices were accessed at the same research time as the outright table. They require the selected winner and the stated method. Published event markets.

Sky Bet · Method market · 27 October 2026, 18:32 GMT
SelectionFractionalDecimal
Canelo: points / decision8/111.73
Canelo: KO, TKO or DQ7/24.50
Draw14/115.00
Mbilli: points / decision9/25.50
Mbilli: KO, TKO or DQ7/18.00

The draw is quoted differently in the two markets. Keep each price attached to its own market; do not silently substitute the outright draw price for the method-market draw.

The decision selection does not cover every way Alvarez could win. Check the operator’s boxing rules for the exact method definitions before comparing prices.

Read the winning conditions

Three-way odds, draw-no-bet and distance markets

A draw loses either fighter selection in an ordinary three-way market. Sky Bet voids drawn match markets without a draw option. Its KO/TKO settlement includes disqualification and retirement. Sky Bet settlement rules.

Going the distance and points/decision are different: a technical decision can finish early. For totals in three-minute rounds, Sky Bet treats 90 seconds as half a round.

Read each market’s winning conditions before comparing its price with another product.

Also check the current provisions for postponements, no contests and contest changes.

Understand the price

How to read fractional and decimal odds

Fractional odds describe potential profit relative to stake. Decimal odds include the returned stake: decimal = 1 + fractional odds. For an illustrative price of 2.50, a £10 winning bet returns £25 in total, including £15 profit. This is an arithmetic example, not a quoted selection or a recommended stake.

The raw implied probability is 100 ÷ decimal odds. Our table uses exact fractional values before rounding, so a displayed decimal rounded to two places may not reproduce the last percentage digit.

A price only offers value if the chance of the bet winning justifies it after accounting for uncertainty and settlement. We have not fitted a statistical model or assigned precise personal win probabilities. The market conversion is not evidence that our editorial pick has an edge.

Keep the decision deliberate

Before using any betting tips

Recheck the price, named market, settlement terms and your eligibility. Use the appropriate public licence register for the operator you choose. A verified source bookmaker’s licence does not verify a different betting partner.

Set a firm limit, avoid borrowing to gamble and do not increase a stake to recover an earlier loss. There is no need to place a bet to enjoy the fight. If gambling is causing problems, GamCare offers support and GAMSTOP provides online self-exclusion information.

For the event itself, see our date and time guide, UK viewing guide, undercard page and ticket guide. A bookmaker’s event timestamp should not be treated as an official headline ringwalk announcement.

Betting odds & betting tips FAQ

The price, the market and the limits of a tip.

What are the Canelo vs Mbilli betting odds?

See the two price tables and their timestamp. Recheck the exact market and the offered price before betting.

What are your Canelo vs Mbilli betting tips?

Our cautious editorial lean is Canelo by decision, but our position at the quoted decision price is no bet. A prediction does not establish value, and our review threshold is not an available offer or a guarantee.

Who is the favourite in the quoted market?

Canelo is the shorter-priced fighter in the outright table. A favourite can still lose.

Does a draw lose an outright fighter selection?

In an ordinary three-way market, yes. Read the separate draw-no-bet terms before choosing that product.

Are the implied probabilities true win chances?

No. They are arithmetic conversions of the quoted prices, before adjusting for the bookmaker’s margin. Our tactical assessment is qualitative and does not supply calibrated probabilities.

Is going the distance the same as winning by decision?

No. Their winning conditions differ; read both market definitions before comparing prices.

Are these odds updated automatically?

No. This page records the stated research snapshot. Prices and market availability can change after publication; it is not a live odds feed.

Are any betting tips guaranteed?

No. Every selection can lose. Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over; set a limit you can afford to lose, and never chase losses.
